The Confederation
Ferry has just arrived at PEI and is unloading. I'm in line to load as soon
as it is cleared out. Motorcycles are loaded prior to other vehicles as they
are located off to the side of designated vehicle lanes on board.
The motorcycles were not tied down to the floor but it did not matter
because the passage was very calm.
Once the vehicles were secured most folks rode on the upper deck in the open
air.
Nova Scotia is on the horizon.
As we neared land everyone returned to their vehicles. I was standing next
to the bike when I took this photo.
I stopped for lunch at a small cafe in Whycocomagh, NS and ordered their daily special, freshly caught fish and chips.
Soon I was on the Cabot Trail paralleling the Atlantic coast. Yes, the water
really was that blue.
